Casio Appoints Varlink as a New UK Distributor for its Range of Handheld Mobile Devices and New Android Based EPoS System

LONDON, January 10th, 2012 - Casio Electronics Co. Ltd are pleased to announce that Varlink, the York based specialist mobile computing and data capture hardware distributor has become a UK Distributor for Casio handheld data capture terminals. Furthermore, EPOS Distributor, a sales division of Varlink will also be distributing Casio's new Android based EPoS system to expand their product offerings.

Aimed at warehousing, stocktaking and retail applications, the Casio range of rugged mobile devices are the perfect solution to provide fast and efficient mobile data collection, as well as leading the retail industry with its Android based EPoS solution.

The product range from Casio includes the DT series of rugged mobile devices including the DT-X7, DT-X8 and DT-X30, as well as the IT-300 and IT-800. The IT-3100 from Casio will be replaced by the IT-9000 and Varlink will have this product available when it is launched in February 2012.

EPOS Distributor, a sales division of Varlink will be distributing the VX-100 Android based EPoS system, which was released by Casio in December 2011, and is the first Android based platform for both Varlink and Casio therefore striking an exciting new product development for the companies and aims to close a gap in the Android market for its resellers.
